Use this gentle 3-minute RESET practice to interrupt the momentum of difficult moments and reconnect with yourself — without forcing answers, overthinking, or adding another thing to your self-improvement to-do list.

The simple 3-minute RESET practice you can use anytime, anywhere to pause the mental spin cycle and come back to yourself — no meditation poses or perfect conditions required.
How to create space between you and the overwhelm so you can stop reacting from a place of stress and start responding from a place of steadiness.
Why "understanding the problem" often isn't enough — and what to do instead when you know why something bothers you but still can't shake the feeling.
A gentle way to interrupt difficult moments that doesn't require you to fix, solve, or figure anything out — just reconnect with what's actually happening within you.

This was such a powerful reminder that I don’t have to figure everything out in the middle of a difficult moment. I can pause and connect with myself. The idea that the present is the place where I actually have some control really stayed with me. This is a practice I want to keep.

I love how simple this practice is. When I’m overwhelmed, the last thing I need is another complicated thing to do. The 3-minute RESET gives me a way to come back to myself instead of getting swept up in whatever is happening. I can actually see myself using this in the middle of a stressful day.

A PERSONAL NOTE
I spent more than 20 years as a problem-solver — find the issue, understand it, create a plan, fix it. I was good at it. But eventually, I noticed something that changed everything: some things don't get better the more you understand them.
You can know exactly why something shouldn't bother you — and yet it does. You can tell yourself you should feel safe, but that feeling stays just out of reach. You can see the pattern clearly and still keep repeating it.
So I started searching for another way. I became curious about what happens beneath our conscious attempts to figure things out — and what becomes possible when we stop forcing answers and simply create space to notice what's there.
The RESET practice came from that exploration. It's not another thing to master. It's a simple way to interrupt the momentum of a difficult moment and come back to yourself.
Because sometimes it's not about solving a problem — it's about finding your center in the midst of it all.
And if you're ready to try another way too, I created this guide for you.
